There are two routes to obtain Grenada’s citizenship. Under both routes, there are applicable fees such as application, due diligence, processing, and government fees (in case of approved projects).
- A contribution to the National Transformation Fund and
- An investment in an approved project (real estate) in Grenada.
The NTF, established in 2013, is a Government fund responsible for financing projects beneficial for Grenada’s economy. The applicants make a one-time contribution to this fund. Under this route the applicant can either immediately apply for citizenship, or first apply for permanent residence, and apply for citizenship later.
The Minimum contribution amount for this route is US$ 150,000
The approved projects mainly consist of luxury hotels, resorts, and villas. Investment in real estate must be held for a minimum of three years from the date of grant of citizenship, and the applicant must invest a minimum of US$ 220,000.
