GRENADA CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT.

WHY GRENADA ?

Grenada is a Commonwealth Carribean country made up of Islands. The main island is Grenada and there are six smaller islands to the north of the main island. Grenada is also known as the Isle of Spice because of its production of nutmeg and mace. The capital, St. George’s is on the main island. St. Geoge’s is known for its colourful homes, Georgian buildings, and an 18th century Fort, Fort George which overlooks the Carenage Harbour.

The most important sectors of the economy are agriculture and tourism. The towns and villages are connected by bus service. Moreover, the country has an international airport at Point Salines, and two other airports provide flights to nearby islands.

Grenada has one of the best United State’s offshore universities, the St. George’s University. It has the finest medical, veterinary, and arts and sciences schools. Their graduates are trained in renowned hospitals of the US, and UK. The University is internationally accredited, and has 6000 students from over 140 countries.

Grenada currently does not require you to appear for a mandatory interview. You do not need to appear before, during, or after grant of citizenship.

Moreover Grenada recognizes dual citizenship, so you do not need to renounce your current citizenship.

HOW TO OBTAIN GRENADA CITIZENSHIP ?

There are two routes to obtain Grenada’s citizenship. Under both routes, there are applicable fees such as application, due diligence, processing, and government fees (in case of approved projects).

  1. A contribution to the National Transformation Fund and
  2. An investment in an approved project (real estate) in Grenada.

THE NATIONAL TRANSFORMATION FUND (NTF)

The NTF, established in 2013, is a Government fund responsible for financing projects beneficial for Grenada’s economy. The applicants make a one-time contribution to this fund. Under this route the applicant can either immediately apply for citizenship, or first apply for permanent residence, and apply for citizenship later.

The Minimum contribution amount for this route is US$ 150,000

APPROVED REAL ESTATE PROJECT

The approved projects mainly consist of luxury hotels, resorts, and villas. Investment in real estate must be held for a minimum of three years from the date of grant of citizenship, and the applicant must invest a minimum of US$ 220,000.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE ?

You can apply for citizenship with your spouse, dependent children, and dependent parents. Fees for family members vary according to the number of family members included in the citizenship application.

HOW DO YOU QUALIFY ?

A person who is at least 18 years of age, has no criminal record, is in good health, and willing to make the required contribution qualify for this program.
