Montenegro is a Balkan Country, located in the west-central Balkans, at the southern end of the Dinaric Alps. It is a picturesque country with medieval villages, and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. There are coastal churches, and fortified towns such as Kotor and Herceg Novi. There is a National Park called the Durmitor National Park, which has bears, wolves, limestone peaks, glacial lakes, and a 1300 metres deep Tara River Canyon.
Montenegro has a low cost of living, mild climate, and beautiful terrain. The country will officially be expected to join the EU by 2025.
With Montenegro’s citizenship you will get visa free or visa on arrival access to 124 countries including Schengen Area, Russia, and Turkey. The applicant along with family members get full citizenship. The country enjoys political and economic stability, and also the government encourages businesses.
There are no language tests, and business experience requirements to obtain its citizenship.
The processing time is within 3 months once the application is received by the relevant government department.
The applicant can choose two routes to qualify for the Citizenship by Investment program of Montenegro.
Moreover the applicant has to pay government fees of EUR 100,000 per application, which goes to a special fund for the advancement of underdeveloped areas.
Application Fee: The main applicant has to pay EUR 15,000 application fee, EUR 10,000 for a family of 4 members, and EUR 50,000 for each additional family member.
The due diligence, and passport fees are additional to the above.
The main applicant can apply along with his/her family members. Family members include a married spouse, applicant’s children who are 18 or above but dependent on the applicant. Also applicant’s children under 18 years of age who can acquire Montenegrin citizenship once of the age.
